Direction to Use
Pen Tip Installation:
- Ensure the device is in a cooled state.
- Install the pen tip onto the handle, making sure it is securely attached. Do not operate the button during installation.
Positioning for Operation:
- Orient the pen tip so that the curved part is opposite to the button, facilitating easier cutting.
Cutting Gutta-Percha:
- Press the button to activate the cutter, using the curved part of the pen tip to cut the gutta-percha. Hold the button while cutting.
Release Button:
- Release the button once the gutta-percha is cut. Wait for the pen tip to cool down before removing it from the patient.
Safety Precautions:
- Avoid bending the pen tip while it is still on the unit.
- Apply controlled force during treatment to preserve the service life of the pen tip.
- Avoid electromagnetic radiation during operation.
- Do not modify the unit in any way.
Autoclaving:
- If necessary, the heating tips can be autoclaved for sterilization. Ensure proper autoclaving procedures are followed.
