Preparation:

• Ensure proper isolation of the operating site for effective moisture control.
• Thoroughly clean the surfaces to be sealed using a rotating brush or cleaning paste free of fluorides.
• Etch the enamel with Actino 37% etching gel according to the condition of the enamel, then spray and dry. The etched enamel should appear opaque and matt-white.

Application:

• Remove the protective cap from the syringe and attach a new cannula.
• Apply Prevest Denpro PF Seal Pit and Fissure Sealant from the margin into the fissure or cavity.
• Allow the sealant to penetrate for 15 – 20 seconds, ensuring complete coverage.
• Use the fine cannula to remove any air bubbles.

Light-curing:

• Polymerize the sealant for 40 seconds per surface using a suitable polymerization device.
• Ensure the light output is at least 500mW/cm2 on halogen devices or 300 mW/cm2 on LED devices for optimal curing.

Finishing:

• Re-seal any undercuts and remove excess material cautiously using a finishing diamond.
• Polish the sealed area if necessary with a rubber polisher.

Additional Treatment:

• Apply fluoride varnish on the treated and neighboring teeth to provide additional protection.
